Clock in and out

Payroll should start from facts, not memory.

Simple time capture for every member of your practice. Staff clock in and out in seconds, the hours collect themselves, and month end stops being a negotiation about who worked what.

01How it works

Three steps and the timesheet writes itself.

From the tap at the door to the file payroll opens, nothing is filled in from memory.

1

Clock in, clock out

Staff tap in and out from a device at the practice or their own phone, whichever policy you prefer. It takes seconds.

2

Hours collect themselves

Worked time, breaks and overtime accumulate against each person automatically, against the shifts they were rostered for.

3

Reports land ready for payroll

Hours breakdowns export in PDF and CSV per person, per role or per period. Payroll gets numbers, not anecdotes.

02What it replaces

Paper timesheets and polite disputes.

The Friday guesswork and the month-end collation, swapped for a record made at the time.

Before
Timesheets filled in from memory on Friday
Overtime that surfaces at payroll, or never
"I definitely did more hours than that"
An afternoon of collation every month
With clock in and out
Hours captured at the door, as they happen
Overtime visible the week it occurs
A record both sides trust
An export that takes a minute
03Who it suits

Any practice that pays people by the hour.

Particularly useful where part-time and casual staff work varying patterns, where overtime creeps quietly, or where one person currently spends a day a month rebuilding hours from notes and goodwill.

Varying patterns

Part-time and casual hours, recorded honestly

When shifts and patterns change week to week, the record changes with them. No two timesheets reconstructed from the same blurry memory.

Overtime that creeps

The extra half hours that never make it onto paper, made visible the week they happen.

A day a month, returned

The monthly collation job, rebuilt from notes and goodwill, simply stops existing.

Pairs with the rota

Planned versus actual, side by side

Sits naturally alongside the rota system, so rostered hours and worked hours can be read together.

04Questions

Clock in and out FAQs

Do staff need an app on their personal phones?

No. Clocking in can run from a shared device at the practice. Personal phones are an option if you want them, not a requirement.

Can it track breaks and overtime separately?

Yes. Breaks and overtime are recorded as their own categories, so reports show worked time honestly rather than as one undifferentiated lump.

How does this help with payroll?

Hours export in CSV exactly as payroll needs them, per person and per period. The monthly collation job disappears, and disputes shrink because the record was made at the time.

What does it cost?

Quoted per practice: a setup fee plus a subscription covering hosting, maintenance and support. A written quote comes before any commitment.
