Findmyshift is one of the most straightforward rota tools on the market: per team pricing, a free tier, a three month trial and a refund promise. For a small team with simple shifts it is honestly hard to beat on price. The question is whether a veterinary rota stays simple. Here is what to check, and what the vet-built alternative looks like.
Simple software is a joy until the rota stops being simple. Veterinary rotas stop being simple early.
Findmyshift's published UK pricing is genuinely clear: a free tier for up to five team members, Starter at 21 pounds per team per month for up to twenty, Business at 31 pounds for up to a hundred, all as published on their pricing page in July 2026, with the first three months free and a standing refund promise. Their about page counts more than two hundred million shifts hosted since 2004.
The fine print that matters to a practice is structural: the Starter plan has a single manager account, historical data is capped by tier, and there is no veterinary product, no white labelling and no employment law support anywhere on the published pages. Vet HR builds the rota around your practice, brands it as yours, and answers the questions software cannot.
All three come from Findmyshift's own published pages, as checked in July 2026.
On the published Starter plan there is one manager account. In a real practice the practice manager, head nurse and a director all touch the rota. Decide who the one manager would be, or price the Business tier, before assuming the Starter price is your price.
Plan tiers cap historical data and forward planning: a week of history on Free, a year on Starter. Hours records are evidence in holiday and working time questions, so know what you would keep, and for how long, at the tier you would actually buy.
Findmyshift offers three free months, which is generous. Use it properly: first and second on call, OOH recovery, weekend rotation fairness, a second site. If you find yourself keeping a spreadsheet alongside the software, the software is not doing the job.
Every system carries your practice's name and branding, not ours. These are the ones that matter most here.
If your rota is genuinely simple, do not pay more: their free tier and low flat pricing are honest value and we will say so. Practices come to us when the rota carries OOH fairness arguments, irregular hours holiday maths and employment law questions, because at that point the cost that matters is the dispute, not the software.
No. The rota is one of six white labelled systems in one build, and the build comes with HR consultancy from the people who made it. You are buying the system and the judgement together, priced per practice in writing.
We handle migration as part of the build: export what your tier retains, and we bring the patterns and records across so nothing about your rota's memory is lost in the move. The handover is planned with you, not dropped on you.
A free HR health check: thirty minutes on where your practice stands, including whether your current rota tool is actually the problem. If the honest answer is keep Findmyshift, that is the answer you will get.
Leave your details and we'll get back to you, usually within a few hours.
